1. Letter to a Friend about Preparation for Board Exams

23, Janki Nagar,
Indore (M.P.)
18 August 2025

My dear Jaideep,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and cheerful mood. You asked me in your last letter about my preparation for the upcoming Board examinations, so I am writing to share it with you.

As you know, this is an important year for us. I have made a proper timetable and divided time for every subject. I give more time to Mathematics and Science as they require regular practice. In the morning hours, I study difficult subjects like Physics and Chemistry. In the evening, I revise English and Social Science. Apart from this, I solve previous year question papers to understand the exam pattern.

I also take care of my health. I go for a short walk daily and eat simple food. I try to avoid wasting time on mobile or TV. My teachers are very helpful and clear all my doubts. I am confident that with regular study and revision I will score good marks.

What about your preparation? Do write soon and share your routine. We will succeed together with hard work.

With love,
Your loving friend,
Praveen Mahajan

2. Letter to Father about Hostel Life

121, Sharda Colony,
Jabalpur (M.P.)
18 August 2025

Respected Father,

I received your letter yesterday and felt very happy. You wanted to know about my hostel life, so I am writing about it.

At first, hostel life felt new and strange, but now I am adjusting well. The hostel is neat and clean. The warden and teachers are very kind. I have made many new friends. We study together in the study hall, and this helps me clear doubts.

The food is simple but healthy. We also have games in the evening where I play cricket with my friends. The hostel maintains strict discipline which is helping me become more regular in my studies. Sometimes I miss home and your care, but I know this experience will make me independent.

Please don’t worry about me. I am fine and safe here. Pay my regards to mother and love to my younger brother.

Your loving son,
Mohan Verma

3. Letter to Friend Giving Tips for JEE Mains Preparation

45, Gokul Colony,
Bhopal (M.P.)
18 August 2025

My dear Amar,

I was glad to receive your letter. You asked me about tips for preparing for JEE Mains. Let me share my advice.

First of all, make a proper timetable and give equal time to Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Focus more on NCERT books because most of the questions are based on them. For practice, solve mock tests and previous year papers regularly. This will improve your speed and accuracy.

Try to clear your basic concepts instead of rote learning. For difficult problems, note down the steps in a separate notebook and revise them daily. Do not study for very long hours at a stretch; take short breaks in between. Along with studies, take care of your health by eating good food and sleeping at least 6–7 hours daily.

I am sure if you follow these tips with dedication, you will definitely clear JEE Mains with flying colours.

Best of luck,
Yours lovingly,
(Your Name)

4. Letter to Father about a Picnic Spot

123, Gagan Hostel,
Ratlam (M.P.)
18 August 2025

Respected Father,

I hope this letter finds you in good health. Last Sunday, our class went for a picnic, and I want to share my experience with you.

We visited the famous Kedareshwar Waterfall, located about 20 km away from our hostel. The weather was pleasant, and the scenery was beautiful. There were green trees, flowing water, and cool breeze all around. We played games, sang songs, and enjoyed ourselves a lot.

Our teachers guided us to keep the place clean, so we collected all waste in bags. We had our lunch under the shade of trees. After lunch, some friends clicked photographs while others played cricket. The sound of the waterfall and the fresh air made us feel relaxed.

This picnic was full of joy and learning. It gave us relief from our regular study schedule. I will never forget this trip.

Please convey my regards to mother and love to sister.

Your loving son,
Amit Nema
